I do not go regularly to have my ears de-waxed so the suction experience was new to me. The nurse effecting the procedure( Judy)was friendly and professional; gentle in her treatment and it was really effective. It is quite a noisy experience but nothing that can’t be tolerated. I had no idea that clearing one partially blocked ear could result in crystal clear hearing. She showed me the picture of the ear structure and what the procedure did. I was also informed of a discount system for which I was eligible without previously realising. A good experience!

My first re-assessment (after receiving hearing aids previously ) to check my hearing and see if any adjustments were needed was handled very professionally and with courtesy by Sarkhab at the Shrewsbury location. I needed a new receiver unit for one side and the requisite filter was also fitted. All good. Happy to remain an inter hearing customer and feel I’m in good hands.

After doing some research I came across interhearing with their glowing reviews.After previously suffering a long period of ear infection due to poor diagnosis from my doctors surgery namely by the so called advanced clinician that works there.I had to endure many weeks and months of trying to irradicate this infection which actually turned out to be 2 infections and 4 trips to ENT Telford to have my ears microsucted over an 8 week period.Once the infection was gone I wanted to find someone to keep on top of my ears being clean especially as I was going on holiday and didnt want further problems with trapped water against ear wax.This is where Judy from interhearing stepped in. I found her knowledge and advice to be extremely helpful as well as a superb bedside manner.The microsuction was done in a matter of minutes and was pain free.She advised me that if I get an infection again, then make an appointment and we will get rid of the nasty stuff and then perscribe what is needed so as to directly target the area.I shall be making a yearly visit just before any foreign holiday so they are plane and pool ready.Thanks again Judy.

Was seen by Judy, such a nice, friendly & professional lady. I was deaf in the one ear, full of wax but after a mastoid operation presented a few problems such as a narrow ear canal, it took about 20 minutes to sort out but such a relief I could hear again, Judy also sorted my other ear out which unknown to me had quite a lot of wax, she kept me up to date during the procedure & so glad it was she who treated me. I can't recommend Judy enough, above all she is simply a nice lady & a credit to the NHS.

Excellent experience. Judy was very professional, friendly and welcoming. I was a little anxious before the procedure as I have a perforated ear drum and quite a sizeable piece of old hardened wax to be removed. The procedure took moments and was very comfortable. After suffering from earache for several weeks and being on antibiotics it calmed down enough for me to be able to see Judy on recommendation from my GP, she cleared some old contamination from the offending ear and it has been a massive relief to know the horrible pain probably won't be returning again. well worth the money!

I needed to have wax removed at very short notice, due to having to play oboe in a concert on the Saturday night. Judy, at Interhearing in Shrewsbury created an extra appointment for me at the end of the day on the Wednesday. She explained a lot to me about the treatment and what to do going forward, was extremely gentle and very pleasant in her approach. A true professional.Thank you for returning my hearing to normal!

My little girl who is 5 yrs, has been suffering with wax in her ears, she was on the nhs waiting list but this was a 2 year wait unfortunately.We decided to Google and interhearing came up, I sent an email I was pleasantly surprised how promptly my email was dealt with, I had a telephone call, spoke to to the nurse and decided to proceed with an appointment. At the appointment Juile was amazing with my daughter kind, utterly brilliant in every way. My daughter felt and ease and the whole procedure was stress free. I would highly recommend this service/company to anyone, could not fault them one bit, from the response to the email, phone call, ladies on reception just brilliant. I only made the appointment this afteroon and was expecting to have to wait several days or even weeks but I was able to choose from a range of same day appointments. I had blocked ears! It was causing me distress because I couldn't hear well. I'm a musician. I tried to clear them using otex, as recommended by the chemist. Judy at InterHearing was brilliant, she painlessly removed the build up of wax from both ears. When she found that I needed another appointment, she offered for me to wait until the next patient had been seen and then cleared my other ear. This saved me another 60 mile round trip! I still got to work on time. What a lovely service with Judy who is very skillful, kind, enthusiastic and so helpful.

I was lucky enough to book and be seen within two days, by the wonderful Judy - friendly, genuine, and highly professional, both during the short procedure, and when detailing the aftercare that I needed. I received an appointment for just one week from my call; the suction procedure was quick and painless - much better than syringing. When I booked I wasn't sure whether my hearing had deteriorated or I had a build up of wax. Judy soon assured me it was wax! After a lot of squeaks and bangs, all perfectly tolerable, I emerged with my hearing back where it should be. My wife estimated it made a good 50% improvement. I shan't wait so long next time.

The appointment itself was a very positive experience . I was met in the waiting room and greeted in a welcoming way . All very covid safe. The treatment was carried out in a very friendly and professional manner and I would certainly use this service again .The reason for not giving a 5 star review is that I never received the email I was told I would get to give me details of the appointment even though I rang twice to ask about it .Admin letting the company down rather than the care givers .

Efficient and friendly service. The experience of my ear wax removal by micro suction was comfortable and effective. As a musician, I have been receiving this treatment on a yearly basis at a reputable ear clinic in London. Due to the Covid crisis, I decided not to go to London for treatment and instead visit a local clinic. After weeks with blocked ears, I attended Interhearing at Radbrook Green, Shrewsbury. I was met at the door by Judy Lloyd and shown in. What a breath of fresh air she is. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was today. I had a build up of wax and an absolute fear of water in my ears, and it was dealt with by suction in roughly two minutes! Kind, friendly, empathetic nurse (wish I'd got her name) and whilst I'm not a millionaire, that was the best £65 I could have spent! Easy booking process. Sent an email at the weekend and had a call on Monday morning to book an appointment for a week's time. Parking available immediately outside clinic. Julie at the Shrewsbury clinic was very friendly and professional. I didn't feel a thing and could hear again. Can't believe l was walking round for over two years deaf in one ear. This was my first experience of micro suctioning. Was given an appointment at Warrington Jubilee Hub on the day after my inquiry. Everything went to plan. The wax was removed within a few minutes,painlessly and quickly. The nurse (Jo Jo) was very helpful,charming, and efficient,and professional. I’ve no hesitation in recommending this procedure/service. I suffer from Tinnitus and was worried about adverse effects.....there were none at all and Jo Jo took great care. Excellent....thank you!

Removing Ear Wax with Microsuction
Microsuction is a quick and safe way to remove ear wax. The microsuction technique uses gentle suction to clean the ear and is much safer and more comfortable than all other forms of ear cleaning, including syringing and irrigation.
With microsuction, there is no need to use ear drops for weeks prior to treatment, just the night before, and the morning of your appointment. A small, thin probe is directed at the ear wax in the ear canal, and then gentle suction is applied to slowly remove the ear blockage.
