Interhearing offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic audiology services for individuals, referrals from healthcare professionals, medico-legal assessments and workplace hearing assessments.
Personal Health Insurance
If you have health insurance, why wait to be seen in the NHS, when we can see you within just a few days? Interhearing are registered providers with all health insurance companies.
How does it work? First, you will need a referral from your GP to see an ENT consultant. If, during your consultation, the ENT specialist feels that you would benefit from an audiological assessment or treatment, they can then refer you directly to Interhearing.

Private hearing aids
The professional fitting of an appropriate hearing aid, tailored specifically to the client’s requirements, is essential to better, clearer hearing. All Interhearing hearing aids include a 3 or 5 year warranty, 3 years free supply of batteries (for non-rechargeable models) and are fitted accurately using Real Ear Measurements (REM) to ensure the hearing aids are tuned to make speech as clear as possible (REMs are generally not conducted by high street hearing aid chains).
As an independent service, our prices also include free re-assessment appointments and aftercare, as well as ongoing access to our customer care and audiology team to help you every step of the way.
Internet prices don't include the ongoing, personalised service and care that independent providers offer.
Commercial & Workplace Hearing Surveillance program
Unlike other screening services, at Interhearing, all our workplace assessments are performed by experienced senior grade Audiologists registered with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP). This ensures all our hearing tests are performed to the highest standards, are reliable and accurate.
We are able to offer you a comprehensive and professional service recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) at an affordable price. Provision and fitting of assistive equipment
We accept referrals from organisations, companies, and educational institutes to fit various assistive equipment. We fit a wide range of equipment including FM systems; using recognised national protocols to the highest standards. We also provide training with the equipment, ongoing maintenance and servicing.
